What style of music do you teach?

I teach all genres of music, be it classical, jazz, blues, rock or more popular songs. The most important thing when learning an instrument is to enjoy the music you are performing and have fun.

Where do you teach music lessons?
I teach from my home in Stoke Golding, online or can easily commute to you if you are situated around the Hinckley, Leicestershire area
Do I need to read music?
If like most people you have never been taught how to read music, this will be done hand in hand with your piano lessons. Fear not!

What is your payment policy?

You can pay each week by cash or once a month by BACS. There is a 24 hour notice cancellation policy, but it is not rigid if we can fit another lesson in that week.

Do you offer group lessons?

Yes however these tend to be a little more bespoke and can vary depending on the group.

Do I need an instrument to start?

A keyboard is adequate to begin with for piano lessons and can be used for several years.

Should I buy a musical tuition book?
Upon signing up, I can recommend various books for you depending on your current level.

Do I have to take musical grade exams?
Absolutely not, they are there if you want to take them. Enjoying your music is the most important thing. If you are looking to obtain grades, I have a proven track record for delivering musical qualification if that is what you require.

It is recognised by educationalists that a weekly lesson provides the best progress, but I don’t insist on it. Should you would prefer a more flexible approach, this can certainly be achieved
